Josh Bray
I am a Strength and Conditioning Coach with over 10 years of experience working with a variety of competitive athletes ranging from rugby, soccer, football, hockey, lacrosse, and basketball.
Holding a Master’s in Strength and Conditioning and certifications as a CSCS, CPT, and EXOS Performance Specialist, I specialize in athlete centric programming that focuses on improving the physical qualities related to sport demand and athlete needs.
As the Head of Strength and Conditioning at Bishop’s College School and Universel Academy, I create results-driven training systems for individuals and teams that focus on both performance gains and injury prevention, helping athletes bridge the gap, taking their game to the next level.
My philosophy is simple: consistent, focused effort drives real results.
As a former competitive rugby player, CrossFit athlete, and current marathon runner, I know what it takes to push through physical limits and reach peak performance.

I came in with some foundational components when it came to training and performance. You built around that and developed me into the athlete I am today. From strength such as back squats and reverse lunges to plyos and becoming more springy to becoming more agile your coaching has helped me grow in these areas. I have spent 1 year with Josh, and I think it was my best year off ice. He has managed to get me stronger, faster and made my conditioning better, then ever. With all of this he has managed to get me ready for an NHL development camp where I was one of the leaders in the gym. He has also prepared me for the jump to play in the USHL. I have liked the way he had respect to people like me who wanted to work on themselves like me. I have learned a-lot of mental toughness thanks to Josh's Mental Toughness Wednesday practices as-well. I wouldn’t say that I have disliked anything other then how hard the practices would be, but looking at it now it helped me a lot.
